Furry Scurry 2019

I forgot to bring my camera bag. Can you believe it? Ugh. Anyway.

This is Jeremy's first year doing the Furry Scurry and my second year. Last year I did the 5k with Jeremy's cousin, Roxanne. This year, Jeremy and I are doing it together along with Roxanne, one of Roxanne's friends, and the friend's son. We created a "Team" this year for fundraising - a team revolving around the litter of puppies that Roxanne's dog, Isis, had in March of 2018. Roxanne's friend adopted one of the golden retriever puppies and named him Loki. Jeremiah and I adopted one of the puppies and named her Sequoia.

Anyway, we were the only puppy-adopters that showed up. The other four puppies that got adopted out are not at the Scurry, or at least not part of our team. Roxanne kept one for herself, a girl named Mia. Three out of four puppies together isn't bad though!

Anyway, we met together in the "Team" area, but then soon lost each other. I don't think Roxanne's friend actually wanted to complete the 5k, so I think they just meandered off with Roxanne. Jeremiah and I took Autumn and Sequoia and completed the 5k. We met up again afterwards and got pictures as a group.

We got so many free toys, treats, and bandanas for our two girls, and we purchased a leash with two clips on it so they can walk together. We can't wait for our next one!
