Morning Swim

Jeremy's alarm goes off at 08:30 and we make our way to the buffet for breakfast after getting ready for the day. After breakfast, Jeremy, Zelda, Norman, Bethany, and Zackary all go change into swimwear to take the children to the kid's pool on the back of the ship. Kyle and I stay in regular clothes and lounge nearby. I let him know that I plan on going to this jewelry even to get a free amulet to add to my necklace chain I received yesterday, and then I'm going to go to the art auction afterwards. Kyle looks up from his Sudoku puzzle and says he will go with. Bethany, who just returned with a stack of towels and hasn't jumped into the pool yet also says she will go with.

Stardust Theater

The three of us head to the Stardust Theater thinking that we will be there for fifteen minutes or so to pick up our amulets and leave. We ended up staying for an hour long event, putting tickets into a raffle for $1,000, and listening to a man on stage tell us about different things we can buy on the ship and at the ports. Bethany ends up winning the $1,000 check which has to be used towards Effie jewelry, and she's very excited.

By the time we are done in the theater, the art auction is over, so we go to find the dads and the kids.

Lunch + Siesta

We find them sitting near the buffet area. Jeremiah is holding a sleeping Zelda who has been changed back into normal clothes. We go into the buffet for lunch where I grab plates for both Jeremiah and I since he's holding the sleepy baby. She abruptly wakes up when we are about halfway done with our food, so I fetch her a small plate as well.

The group splits up after lunch. Bethany and Zackary go to find the highest point possible that they can reach on the ship. Jeremiah, Kyle, and Norman go to play shuffleboard. I take Zelda with me to get another coffee, another free amulet, and then to our stateroom to recharge. I read my book while she naps in our room.

Guppies

An hour or so passes before Zelda wakes up from her nap. We leave our room to go find the others. I don't find the boys after walking past a few shuffleboard spots, but I happen to find Bethany and Zackary in Guppies - the play room for kids. Zelda and I join them.

The kiddos play with the toys, and we see the boys walk by the window on the deck outside. Zelda is right near the window, and Jeremy glances in, but then vanishes, not seeming to have seen her. He reappears quickly though, waves at her, and then peers in. The boys soon come around and inside to Guppies to join us. We stay for quite a while, just letting the kids play with all of the toys. There were two other kids when Zelda and I first arrived, but they have since left, so Zackary and Zelda have the room all to themselves.

Dinner + Bed

The kids get hungry (so do the adults), so we head out. Jeremiah and I grab coffees with Zelda in tow, and then meet everyone for dinner in the buffet.

Bethany and I go to the jewelry store after dinner to see if she can find something to spend her $1,000 check on, and to get another free amulet. The men take the kids to play games. Bethany look at Alexandrite rings, which the jewelry store wants $15,000 - $20,000 for. Absolutely not, that's extremely overpriced. She looks at other pieces of jewelry too, all extremely high priced. She's frustrated and disappointed. The $1,000 check feels useless at this point. I remember that there's another jewelry counter in the atrium and we head there. No one is working that counter though, so we just look at the pieces there. She likes a necklace with a bee on it, so we try to remember to ask about that later when someone is here and can help us.

We meet up as a group again, but now it's after 20:00. Bethany and Zackary go to their stateroom, and Zelda and I go to ours. Jeremiah and Norman go to Kyle's stateroom to play board games. We are all in bed and asleep around 22:00.
